Hourly/ Day / Overnight Care

In the morning you might want to be woken up at a certain time, your chosen carer will support you or your loved one get out of bed at your preferred time. 

Duties can entail anything from providing a simple wake-up call to providing assistance with personal hygiene needs, bathing, dressing, grooming, incontinence care, and whatever else you or your loved one requires to have a refreshing start of the day. 

Supporting people with social and physical activities as well as basics such as:

  • Eating and drinking
  • Booking and accompanying people at appointments
  • Assist with personal care
  • Identifying clients’ health and conditions for any concerns and possibly helping with medication.

If you or your loved one have a chronic pain you may not get adequate sleep at night, your chosen carer will adjust the hours appropriately to fit your unique needs.


Overnight care can be delivered in one of three ways:

Sleeping night – when a carer sleeps in your home through the night but is on hand if you need support.
Waking night – when a carer stays awake for the night and provides specialist care whenever you require.
Sitting service – when a carer stays awake and covers for a regular carer who provides your care full-time.
