Duties of a Live-In Carer includes: 

• Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together
• Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, and when necessary, continence support
• Helping with mobility – some customers need assistance getting around the home
• Overseeing medication – all according to the customer’s ability - some may need prompting or being reminded and some are able to take them without support amd some may need full medication support meaning administration.
• Household chores – help around the house, such as vacuuming or washing clothes
• Preparing and cooking meals - some clients might need feeding 
• Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
• Other support - accompanying clients to community centres for activities, taking walks, pet care etc
